Tornado Alley Blues Association To all present and past Tornado Alley Blues Association Members, As everyone knows it is so hard to balance professional careers, families and the time needed for volunteer organizations. Something will always suffer. Unfortunately TABA is the one suffering at this time. The officers, the board of directors and I take full responsibility for the organizations inability to succeed. We have been unable to devote the time and effort to lead those willing to follow. At the last TABA board meeting it was decided to suspend any further Tornado Alley Blues Association functions and meetings at this time. We encourage all members to support the Oklahoma Blues Society. The Oklahoma Blues Society has extended an offer to transfer any active memberships to their organization Contact Joann at www.okblues.org for details. We would also like to thank everyone that came out to the last official function of TABA. The Christmas Party / Jam at the Jazz Lab in Edmond Sunday and brought a musical instrument to donate to Channel 4’s Keep the Music Alive program, or made a cash donation at the door. The TABA treasury containing $2,000.00 was donated to this organization to cover the cost of repairs and to purchase instruments to be distributed to needy students. An additional donation of $300.00 raised from existing merchandise sales will be added to the total
